The first digital writing task my teen students did was a mixbook. They were supposed to write on a sheet of paper a paragraph describing a peer´s likes and dislikes. After they finished, I corrected the paragraph and suggested changes. After that, I taught them how to use the mixbook. On the first day working on the mixbook, we did it in class. They created an account and a password and typed their text. At home, they were supposed to paste their book in the wiki, which is a space I created for them to post their work and see their peers´work this semester.
A primeira tarefa digital escrita da minha turma de Teens foi criar um mixbook ( um livro digital que mistura differentes elementos ilustrativos, desde as mais variadas fontes até figuras e fotos). Eles deveriam sortear um colega na sala de aula e descrever em uma folha o que ele gosta e não gosta de fazer. Depois de terminado o parágrafo, eu recolhi, corrigi e devolvi a eles. Depois disso, eu lhes ensinei a usar o mixbook. Começamos o processo em sala de aula. Eles criaram uma conta e uma senha. Depois digitaram o texto. Em casa, eles deveriam colar o livro digital na nossa wiki, que é um espaço criado para que eles coloquem seus trabalhos e vejam os trabalhos dos colegas durante esse semestre.
